Unless approved by the webmaster, message board members and guests are prohibited from using the resources of this site including the message board posts, PM system, and blogs, for the purpose of selling goods and services or for soliciting funds for charity. Placement of promotional links and information in the profile settings (such as website and instant messenger) and signature box is also prohibited. The reason for these restrictions is so that everyone will be able to enjoy their visits to the message boards without being inundated with sales pitches and pleas for donations. Also, this policy will dissuade participation on the boards by people whose presence on internet message boards is largely parasitic in nature.

What happened to the ads that used to be on this site?

I used to have AdSense ads on here, but I kept seeing ads for businesses that I would never support, like big condo developments on Isla Mujeres, dolphin swim businesses, big AI resorts in Cancun, and ads for the "anything for a buck" promoters of the condos dolphinariums and resorts. Those ads are gone.

I also had some affiliate ads on the site, but I got tired of looking at that crap, and I figured that everyone else was probably tired of it too. Those ads are also gone.
